Company History
The company dates back to 1945 with Mahindra & Mahindra. In the beginning, they joined the war effort by producing WWII Willys Jeeps. They have come a long way since then, and expanded their products into the commercial market. Today, they focus on agricultural equipment and heavy machinery. By 1981, the company had sold its 100,000th tractor! The company has grown tremendously over the last few decades and has become one of the top tractor manufacturers in the world. They have even ventured into automobiles, two-wheeled vehicles, and aircrafts too.

Impressive Performance
Upgrades and innovations have helped Mahindra tractors become some of the highest performing machines on the market. This is in part due to the Mahindra mCRD technology. The Tier IV engines were redesigned to avoid using a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). The company used a $30 million investment to make this happen. The DPF removes soot and other particulates from the exhaust gas, but it can emit excessive amounts of heat and is difficult to work with. They’re also not great for the environment.
The mCRD technology offers a simpler and more efficient way for the tractor’s engine to run using Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) technology. This cleans the gases from the combustion chamber before releasing them. This will save time and money since it has better fuel efficiency and lower maintenance costs.
